One down one to go - April 19

Well, Little Sister has a new family. They are very excited to come back in 2 weeks and pick her up.

They have 15 acres in Barrhead (which is around 2 hrs from me). They are a family of 4 - mom, dad, 7 year old boy and 3 year old girl. Kids were sooo excited. They put their old dog down in the fall and have really researched the type of dog they wanted and were very happy to learn the other day that I still had both puppies so that they could have the choice.

They picked Little Sister because she is friendlier - already. She wanted all the attention while Big Sister just sat back and watched. This family sounds like they are very active - they go camping, quadding etc. all the time and want a dog to go with them.

Mom was a little choked up when she had to put Little Sister back in the doghouse when they were leaving. She gave her a big smooch and said "see you soon". Then turned to the family and said "let's go get her things". Dad looked at me and asked "what size dog house should we be looking at getting for her - and a travel crate". I said "as big as you can find?" He laughed and said Thanks. he then told me that she was going to get everything new - doghouse, crate, collar, leash etc.

Their son was also very cute. He kept asking questions about maggie and Max. Especially needed to know how to teach his new puppy how to Shake A Paw - that is Maggie's favorite and only trick. So I went through it with him step by step and then asked him to tell me what he needed to do. He picked up on it really quick and went through all the steps.

I think this is going to be one lucky little girl puppy!!!
