The Awards stuff ended at 11 pm last night and then we had a 45 minute drive back to the hotel. Everyone was gone this morning by 5 am to the airport...so you can imagine what that was like when we arrived...it seemed like 1000 people all lined up to go through the same airline. Probably was close. LOL
Flight home was good for us parents...nice and quiet. Not many of us rode with the teams though as the YBC had booked a single plane to take all the alberta kids.
When we arrived back in Edmonton, I got on the phone and called CTV and told them about the kids (all the Alberta kids - not just mine - ha ha). They managed to fit us in...and met the kids at the airport for a quick interview.
