We are off - Jan 4

We left home at 3 am for our vacation in Cancun - or more precisely the Mayan Riveria.

We are staying once again at the Mayan Palace - but this time as "members". I sure hope we get a room closer to the pool, beach etc. this time.

We were a little pressed for time once again in Denver but managed to sneak in a food purchase...and Doyle had a smoke.

We spent some of our flights working with the kids on their homework that didn't get finished before we left. Bailey had some math that she was struggling with and Shayne finished up his science.

Shayne gets back to school in time to write his final exams so he had to bring all his books anyway. And we were still waiting for his english homework as his teacher did not get it together for him before school ended.

The flights were uneventful and we arrived in Cancun on time. We got our luggage and headed out of the airport to try to find a shuttle.

We got talked into going to another resort for a "look around". We knew it was a timeshare deal but the free stuff they were offering was something we couldn't pass up.

We got to the resort around 4:30 and headed to our room. We had packed a carryon with bathingsuits and shorts etc...so got changed and headed to the pool...to swim and have dinner.

YIPPEE - let the fun begin.
