Relaxing for a change - Jan 8

We tried to space out our excursions so that we could have a restful day every so often. We didn't want to be "go go go" all the time nor did we want to be "bored" this vacation.

Today was a day of rest. We slept in...



And then went for a great buffet breakfast. Every morning on the path to the restaurant, the two resident iguanas pose for pictures. They seem very happy and content to just sit/lay/stand there...and one even moves himself around and looks right at you as if to say "this is my best side". It is hilarious.



After breakfast, we headed straight for the pool. We rented a "palapa" or bed for the day. It comes with two lounge style chairs and a sit up chair along with a "bed" that has a little house built above it. Very cool. We sat and ordered drinks and food all day. It was great. I played with my camera...went over some of my course books...and then just did NOTHING.
