She was buried with her two favorite blankets (ones I have had almost as long as her - don't know if horses have favorites)...and ones that I used always for her.
She was also buried with the ashes of our first great pyr dog, Tika. She died 3 years ago and Doyle cremated her and kept some of her ashes.
She is facing west and looks like she is running flat out which was her favorite speed.
I had my good cry...actually 3 or 4 of them and I am sure there are more tears to come.
Melissa stayed home from work today to be here for all this and we cried together. And the Doyle and I did...and then Melissa and Doyle did.
She looked very peaceful.
