Our "free" day consisted of being allowed at the resort from 8 am until 11 pm. It included all the non-motorized water sports, all the buffets, free drinks all day, and to be allowed to go to the nightshow (it was kareoke that night).
On top of all that, Doyle and I had been given a free facial and 25 minute massage.
We got to the resort around 11 am as the weather was not looking too promising again. We went to one of the 14 restaurants for buffet. We were too late for breakfast but what can you do. The food was plentiful but not overly great (as far as I was concerned).
We then set the kids up at the pool - which was FREEZING - and went off for our massage and facial appointments.
Those were great. Really relaxing. Doyle enjoyed his massage more than his facial. He said for a couple days after that he could still feel the "goop". LOL
On our way back from the spa, I took some pics of the golf course and of the little "raccoon" animal that I didn't see the previous week at the zoo.
We went and found the kids when we were done and they said "Can we go...we are freezing". Before we left, we went in and had lunch. May as well take advantage of as much free stuff as we can.
We went back to the resort and just ordered in room service as the weather had turned nasty again.
