Well...it happened. Jason sold Sonny. He put him through his dad's "Cow Horse Sale" on saturday. Said he went to a rancher up north. So he will at least have a job.
The advertising on him was not great. Listed him at 15 hh and 1250 lbs. SOOO NOT TRUE. Jason didn't have the particulars so they guessed.
He didn't do to bad on him...got $2900. So didn't make anything on him once you figure in what he cost in feed for 6 weeks (as he had to live in the barn) and the training Jason put on him.
Jason figured he could have done better had Sonny not "misbehaved" in the ring...he crow hopped and kicked out when asked to lope. And he struck at another horse - after the other horse struck at him. BAD BOY.
