Bailey's riding lesson

We went over to Jason's to pick up Bailey's mare. She has been there for a week with Jason tuning her up.

Jason got on her first and showed Bailey how good she was going...told us that she was good all week.

Then it was Bailey's turn. Up she got and around the arena she went with Jason giving her pointers on holding her reins...using her feet...how to use the reins and her feet to make Skeena do things. Then he said "I'll be right back - I am going to get my own horse".

When he got back, he rode beside her correcting little things. It made it easier for Bailey to understand what he was meaning because she could watch and then imitate him.

They walked and trotted. Did some corner to corner trotting too. And then it was OFF ON A TRAIL RIDE.

Wow...you could see Bailey's confidence grow from minute to minute.

She had a blast. Let's hope it continues at home.
