Got another short update from Dale this week.
She said Hyde is just going by leaps and bounds through his training. She is now comfortable adding more speed to his cattle work. Her thoughts on this is to add just a little bit more speed but make sure the horse doesn't lose his form. Once he is comfortable at the next speed, then she will add more.
She also said that she thinks Gunner has finally turned a corner with his training. She decided the other day to turn on the mechanical cow. Well...that got his attention. She said he softened up on the bit, shows more attention to what she wanted, and just went for it. She said she also noticed a softening of his expression and his attitude. It sounds like this is exactly what he needed to happen. I am SOOO happy.
I can hardly wait for the next update!!

Thrilled to hear it but I knew it would happen! He just needed to see a purpose to what he was doing, and the light bulb just finally clicked on

Carrie I am always excited to read your updates on the boys. I am so glad you found Dale she sounds priceless to have. The boys are doing great and I can't wait to see them compete.
