After our long day shopping and pretending to be beach bums...it was back to the ship to get all dressed up for our first Formal Dinner.
After the easy time we had of it in town (St. Maarten) getting bathing suits, clothes and shoes, we figured that it would be karma to find our luggage in our room. But alas...no such luck.
In January, Paige went on a cleaning spree and found a couple nice cocktail dresses that were just my size. Instead of mailing them to me, I had said to just bring them on the cruise. Good thing she did. The gold one fit perfect.
The ship was also great in getting a tux to Doyle on just an hour's notice.
Dinner was fantastic. The choices were plentiful...with an average of 4 different appetizers, 3 different soups, 2 different salads, 5 different main courses, and too many dessert options to mention.
Didn't we all clean up nice?
We had chosen the late sitting for dinner which meant starting at 8:30. We were out of the dining room around 11...and after the long day...we were just too tired to do anything other than go right to bed.
